M. Alex Arellano
Artistic Director
Martín Alexander Arellano is the founding Director and the current principal conductor of the Central California Youth Wind Ensemble. A graduate of Oakdale High School, he subsequently went on to study Theory & Composition at the University of Miami until 2019. After, completed a diploma in Orchestral Conducting at the Strasbourg Conservatoire in Strasbourg, France, and in 2023 received an MA in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Iowa where he conducted opera, musical theater, pops, symphonic, and chamber performances.
Pedro J. Rodriguez
General Manager
Pedro J. Rodriguez is the current General Manager for the Central California Youth Wind Ensemble. A graduate of Oakdale High School, he is currently studying at the California State University at Stanislaus in Turlock, CA.
Ross Valenzuela
Personnel Manager
Ross Valenzuela is the current Personnel Manager & Social Media Coordinator of the Central California Youth Wind Ensemble. He is currently studying a dual degree program at the California State University at Stanislaus in both Music Education as well as Jazz Saxophone Performance.
Theodore Stone
Librarian
Theodore Stone is a graduate of the University of Pacific and current masters student in Trumpet Performance at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He is the current Librarian for the Central California Youth Wind Ensemble.
